Welcome newcomers!
Welcome!
Andres Rodriguez completed his PhD in 2023 at the University of Melbourne. His PhD research focused on understanding the geodynamics of arc-continent collision and subduction zones by performing 2D and 3D numerical modelling. He joined the STELLAR project as a research associate in 2023.
He has worked as a research assistant at the Earthbyte Group, working under the supervision of Dr. Claire Mallard and Dr. Sabin Zahirovic. His research assistant (RA) work focuses on developing workflows to process data extracted from 3D numerical models that couple the evolution of geodynamic and landscape processes. Andres’ additional research interests include: (i) the development of paleogeographic reconstructions by integrating geochronological, structural, stratigraphic and paleontological data, (ii) the development of regional geochronological databases, (iii) the development of software for processing geochronological data.
